The American Academy of Ophthalmology is the world’s largest association of eye physicians and surgeons. George Williams, AAO’ current senior secretary for advocacy and former president of AAO is a MiSEPS member and a practicing Ophthalmologist in Southeast Michigan.

Dr. Favero is a recently retired flight surgeon in the Air Force Reserves. For more than 30 years he has served our country and his patients as an ophthalmologist in Port Huron, Michigan. He trained at not one but two VA hospitals in Reno, Nevada, and Omaha, Nebraska.
"I have enjoyed helping members of our society who often gave so much for our country. We cannot forget their contributions. It's the least I could do to honor them."
